Endowment

On June 30, 2017, Jordan had the privilege to receive his endowment. Kevin was his escort. Carver also received his at that same session. What a special experience they had of being able to do that together.

Kevin and I are so blessed. We were able to have all of our kids there, except Kolar of course. He was watching Maquel's kids with Keya. Dylan and Generra were there, but had to leave right after so we didn't get them in any pictures - bummer.

The spirit is always so strong in the temple and I can always feel peace when I am there. I know that on special moments like this, the Lord allows Grandpa Blake to be there too. He was definitely the one big piece missing, but I know he was there in spirit. What a great night!

Ordination to Elder

On June 11, 2017, Jordan was ordained to the office of an Elder in the Melchizedek Priesthood. We just had everyone meet at VerDonne's house at 6:00.

Brother Croft's from the High Counsel was there and so was Bishop Nielson and President Pugh with his son Ethan. Brother Croft's started the meeting and said it was supposed to be short and sweet, but he wanted Jordan to know what an awesome example he was to everyone around him - from the little kids to the adults. He said that he would never know how many lives he has touched. I have to agree with him. I have people come up to me every day and tell me how Jordan has influenced their life in one way or another.

Kevin gave an amazing blessing. And then Jordan got to hug everyone. Of course I had tears in my eyes because that's a mom's prerogative. I am so proud of him and the decisions he's made.
