Seriously, this post is picture overload. I tried to pick the best pictures, but in four days, I took over 1,000 pictures. And it was way too hard to decide what pictures to use!
Jordan had his farewell on Sunday, August 13th. We had a lot of fun spending time with family and friends. On Friday night Maquel, Lyle and the kids came over. Kevin took the kids on tractor rides and they loved it - every bit of it.
On Saturday, we went to the mountain to ride four-wheelers and just hang out in nature. We always take a lunch and some games to play. Unfortunately, we couldn't stay long because we got rained out.
My mom was the raining champ in corn hole. It didn't matter who her partner was, she always won. Well, Jordan and Dylan decided to partner up and go against her. They finally won. And as you can tell in the pictures, they were gracious winners :).
Then Saturday night, my mom and dad had a BBQ for anyone that wanted to come. We had great food and awesome company. Then, if you know my boys at all, they had to get competitive with each other to see who could was better in certain areas - the did pullups, pushups, jump rope, an obstacle course, and I'm not sure what else. Jordan says he won, and Dylan says he won. I just call it a tie.
Then Sunday after Jordan's talk in church, we met at Granny Blake's to have Brunch. I am lucky enough to have my mom and sisters here and they helped with everything.
After brunch we had Brooke Pehrson take family pictures at Recapture. We had some cooperative and uncooperative people so hopefully they turned out good. Then Monday night we went to the park and then came home and had homemade ice cream and monster cookies - so good. And of course, the kids wanted another ride on the tractor. It was such a fun couple of days. We are sure going to miss this kid!
